OSRAM presents an incredible connected Christmas light which let you personalize the lights of your Christmas tree from your smartphone : the OSRAM LIGHTIFY Gardenspot.
OSRAM LIGHTIFY brings the future of lighting into your home or business today.
Linked to the Lightify system, the OSRAM’s app give you the opportunity to drive your lights, bulbs… from your smartphone or your tablet, each mini-spot can be controlled and set up from one of the 16 millions colors available regarding your taste and the colours of your environment.
The OSRAM LIGHTIFY GardenSpot lighting system begins with a wireless Gateway that can be plugged into any wall outlet in your home or business, and wirelessly syncs with your existing WiFi network. The Gateway connects to LIGHTIFY devices (up to 50 per each Gateway) via standard ZigBee Home Automation protocols.
The Gateway can also operate other smart lighting devices from a variety of manufacturers that use standard ZigBee Home Automation protocols. This gateway here for US32.59$.
The app is compatible with IOS7 or above and Android 4.1 and above.
This light can be used indoor as well as outdoor.

Skype translator


Microsoft is shaping the way into the future with Skype Translator. Latest technology is currently being tried and tested and looking to be released as a standard additional Skype option very soon.
How does it work? Simply speak in your ‘language’ and Skype translate will receive and translate conversation in voice form to your receiving caller in your selected alternative language.
Capable of over 40 languages.
